Staying Strong at Raintree House

Even during stay-at-home orders, the beat goes on at Raintree House! The girls at Raintree House are working hard on their online learning curriculum and our residential case manager continues to offer group sessions focused on person development. Most recently, the girls participated in an activity about personal strength, especially during times of adversity. Our residential case manager helped each resident identify their strengths. The girls shared their strengths with housemates by creating beautiful artwork!
Raintree’s direct care staff also taught residents how to sew protective face masks to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The girls picked out their favorite fabric and learned how to cut from a pattern. Staff also showed them how to properly thread a sewing machine and make pleats. The girls did a great job learning the lifelong skill of sewing while keeping themselves safe!
