More About Raintree House
Raintree House is a 14-bed foster group home in New Orleans, Louisiana assisting an average of 25 adolescent females each year. Residents are between the ages of 11 to 21 years old. Residents have often experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect, and Raintree is the first stable environment they have experienced.
What Mentorship Entails
Help local youth thrive! Being a Raintree mentor carries a lot of meaning. You'll be placed with a Raintree House resident based on similarities of hobbies, interests, and more. Mentors meet once a month and participate in activities ranging from crafts, outings, dinners, on-campus events, and more!
