About PTTG

Our annual Paint the Town Green Gala has been going strong for 17 years! Paint the Town Green is essential to Raintree's success, as it spreads awareness and fuels our three programs: Therapeutic Foster Care, Raintree House, and Family Support Coordination.

This event is inevitably exciting with generous sponsors, donations, delicious food, cocktails, live music, auction items, and a presentation by Raintree.

Our History

raintree

1920s

Raintree Children and Family Services began in 1926 after a group of Uptown women came together to create a home for orphaned infants.

1930s

We expanded to arranging adoptions for more than 150 babies.

1950s and ‘60s

Our program started to provide maternity care for young women.

1970s and ‘80s

Raintree House was established and began providing services to teenage girls in the foster care system.

Our Programs:

  • Therapeutic Foster Care

  • Raintree House

  • Family Support Coordination
