Be a Mentor

The Raintree House is a foster-group-home in New Orleans for adolescent females, identifying females, or nonbinary teens.

The teens at Raintree have most likely gone through traumatic experiences, abuse, or neglect. With that being said, it would be beneficial for them to positively interact with adults, which is why we decided to launch Raintree's Mentor Assistance.

We are hoping to expand their experiences and perceptions, help them make connections, and give them something to look forward to. Hopefully we'll be planning fun and informative activities by the end of this summer.

Can you dedicate 2-3 hours monthly?

Being a mentor will require you to give 2-3 hours of your time each month. We ask for consistency because it's crucial for the Raintree teens to have reliable relationships.
