On May 27, 1926, Raintree Services was initially chartered as The Protestant Home for Babies. Established to care for infants and young children in need of shelter. The organization began as a small, initiative focused on providing a safe environment for children who had been orphaned, abandoned, or placed in emergency circumstances. In its earliest years, it relied heavily on community support, volunteer caregivers, and charitable donations to meet the basic needs of the children in its care. Over time, the home expanded its services in response to growing community needs, gradually evolving beyond infant care to offer broader social services and support programs for families.
Now Raintree has three programs focused on helping children and families.
Therapeutic Foster Care: provides a family-based setting for children with serious emotional, behavioral, mental health, or developmental needs.
Raintree House: a 14-bed foster group home assisting an average of
40 adolescent females each year.
Family Support Coordination: our biggest program, serving nearly 150 children and families yearly by providing assistance to those with developmental delays or disabilities.

Thank You
We'd like to thank our Executive Director, Board of Directors, Staff, Program Participants, Supporters, Donors, Volunteers, and Mentors. Due to the community support, we were able to make this milestone. To another 100 years!
