Summer of 2025 officially kicked off on June 21st, the Summer Solstice. It marks the longest day and shortest night, signifying the peak of summer. It's often said to be a time of new beginnings; with the changing of the seasons, we say goodbye to a long, stagnant period of self-reflection and welcome the fiery energy of the sun to propel us forward.
That means longer days in the sun for Raintree House residents. There's so much more that can be done in the day with more daylight. That's why we try to make every day eventful with something on the calendar. Whether it’s a trip to the Audubon Zoo, discovering the colorful magic of JAMNOLA, or watching marine life glide by at the aquarium, these moments help build the kind of childhood experiences that foster resilience and hope.
This summer, we’re asking our supporters to help us fill the calendar with meaningful adventures. Consider donating so that we may purchase tickets for our 14 residents to experience local attractions. Let’s make the most of these long summer days!
Or, donations may be mailed or delivered to:

Thank you for helping create unforgettable summer memories for our Raintree House youth; every adventure is a reminder that they are cared for, seen, and deserving of joy!
